This Privacy Policy explains how Thunder Apps Studio (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use our website at thunderapps.xyz and our iOS apps, including DocSnapper, Cocktale, FlirtWise, WealthWise, DebtTracker and PawPass (together, the “Services”). It also explains the choices and rights you have.

An app may show you extra privacy information, such as a consent prompt before a feature sends data off your device. Where it does, that information applies together with this policy.

Who we are

Thunder Apps Studio is an app developer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at info@thunderapps.xyz.

Information we collect

Content you create in our apps

This includes scanned documents, text recognized from scans, transactions and budgets, drink logs and favorites, saved matches and messages, and pet care details. It is stored on your device by default. If you turn on iCloud sync, it is stored in your own private iCloud account, which Apple runs under its own privacy policy. We cannot see content stored only on your device or in your iCloud.

Content you choose to send to a feature

Some features only work if content leaves your device:

• AI features. When you ask an AI feature for help, the text needed for that request is sent to our AI service provider to generate a response. This includes a pasted conversation or a profile you want openers for. FlirtWise asks for your permission before any text is sent, and you can turn AI processing off in the app at any time. Screenshots you add to FlirtWise are read on your device. Only the extracted text is sent, and only if you have allowed it. Our AI providers process this text on our behalf to provide the feature.
• Shared links. When you create a share link, for example a PawPass care sheet for a pet sitter, the details you choose to include are stored on our servers. These details can include your pet’s name, photo, feeding and medication notes, and vet and emergency contacts. Our servers are run by Google Firebase. Anyone who has the link can view the sheet. Share links are hidden from search engines.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple tells us that a purchase or subscription is active so we can unlock the features you paid for. We do not receive your name, payment card or billing address.

Advertising and device data

Some of our apps show ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect device and usage information. This includes your IP address, device model, app interactions, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

On iOS, AdMob uses your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when the app asks you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are not personalized based on your activity in other companies’ apps and websites. You can change this later in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Diagnostics

If an app crashes or a feature fails, we may receive anonymous diagnostic information to help us fix the problem, such as the device model, iOS version and crash details. This can come from Apple, if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers, or from a crash-reporting tool built into the app.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write. We use it only to reply and to help you.

When you visit our website

Our website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub automatically logs technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, icons from Cloudflare’s cdnjs, and app images from Apple. Those services receive your IP address when your browser requests the files. App Store buttons take you to Apple’s App Store, which has its own privacy policy.

How we use information

• To provide the features you ask for, such as generating an AI reply, hosting a share link or unlocking a purchase.
• To keep the Services working, secure and free of abuse.
• To fix bugs and improve our apps.
• To show ads in apps that include them.
• To reply to your messages and support requests.
• To meet our legal obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (providing the features you use), your consent (AI processing, personalized ads, tracking), our legitimate interests (security, fixing bugs, improving the Services), and legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except through AdMob as described above and only with your permission where required. We share information only with:

• Service providers that run parts of the Services for us, under contracts that limit how they can use the data: Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, iCloud), Google (Firebase hosting and storage, AdMob advertising), our AI service providers, and GitHub (website hosting).
• People you share with. For example, anyone you send a share link to.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or Thunder Apps Studio.
• A buyer or successor if our business is merged or sold. Your information would stay protected by this policy, and we would notify you before it became subject to a different one.

How long we keep information

• Content on your device or in your iCloud stays until you delete it or delete the app. We don’t keep a copy.
• Text sent to an AI feature is used only to produce your response. Our AI providers may keep it for a limited time for safety and abuse monitoring, as their terms allow.
• Shared links are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete them.
• Emails are kept for as long as we need them to help you, and then deleted.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy of it, or object to or restrict how we use it. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don’t sell personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, email info@thunderapps.xyz. We will reply within 30 days. You can also manage most things directly:

• Delete app data: delete the content in the app, or delete the app. For iCloud data, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
• AI processing: decline the prompt, or turn it off in the app’s settings where available.
• Tracking and ads: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
• Subscriptions: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.

Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Some apps have higher age limits. Cocktale is for adults of legal drinking age, and FlirtWise is for adults 18 and over. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect information with measures such as encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our cloud services, and by keeping as much as possible on your device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We are based in Bangladesh, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.

Links to other websites

Our Services link to websites we don’t run, such as the App Store. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or on this website before it takes effect.
